Important Notes About Animated Wallpapers (Please Read)

iPhone (Lock Screen / Live Photo wallpapers):

Apple’s Lock Screen animation playback is limited. Even if the video loop is 8 seconds, when used as a Live Photo-style wallpaper you should expect around ~2 seconds of motion when you press/activate the Lock Screen.

This is an iOS limitation (not a file issue).

You can still enjoy the full 8-second loop:

• by viewing the MP4 files directly in your Photos/Files apps, or
• by using them in other contexts (social posts, background visuals, etc.)

Android (Video wallpapers):

Android devices that support video wallpapers can typically display the loop more continuously (depending on your device and chosen wallpaper app).

Some Android launchers/apps may still reduce motion to save battery — this varies by model and settings.

Using the Animated Files on iPhone

The animated files are provided as MP4 loops. iPhone typically requires conversion to a Live Photo format to use as an animated Lock Screen wallpaper.

Recommended conversion approach:

• Convert the MP4 to a Live Photo using a compatible iPhone app (example: “Live – Live Photo Maker”)

After conversion, set it as your Lock Screen wallpaper and remember:

the motion will appear briefly (around ~2 seconds) when activated.
